The Centre of Research Excellence for National Security (CRENS) at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus has entered into a partnership with T-Works to promote innovation in national security. The two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday to work together on this important initiative.
Officials explained that this collaboration is a big step toward turning advanced research into practical solutions for national security. CRENS, which focuses on developing indigenous technologies for national security, will benefit from T-Works’ state-of-the-art prototyping resources. Together, they aim to transform academic research into products that have real-world impact.
The MoU outlines several key areas of collaboration. These include research and development, skill development, mentorship, advisory support, industry partnerships, and sharing of resources. This comprehensive approach is expected to strengthen innovation in the field of national security.
Professor Soumyo Mukherji, director of BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus, highlighted the importance of this partnership. He said, “This MoU symbolizes the synergy between academia and industry. With T-Works’ advanced prototyping capabilities, CRENS is poised to transform its research into meaningful, scalable solutions for India’s national security framework.”
