Police Arrest Three for Copper Wire Theft in Medak District
Nizamabad police have arrested three individuals in connection with the theft of electrical copper wire. The incident took place between Lakshmapur and Samnapur railway stations in Medak district, where new railway electrical work was being carried out.
The theft occurred on the night of November 19, when unidentified persons cut and stole 320 meters of electric copper wire. On November 22, Praveen, a supervisor from Indus Projects Private Limited, lodged a complaint at the Nizamabad Railway Station.
Following the complaint, the police launched an investigation and arrested three suspects: Mudavath Ameen, Mudavath Subhash, and Teku Satyam, all residents of Medak district. The authorities also recovered the stolen copper wire, valued at Rs 1.28 lakh.
The arrested individuals were presented in court. The operation was carried out by Inspector Srinivas Rao, Sub-Inspector Thavu Naik, and constables Gurudas and Salauddin.
