    Paddy Procurement Center Inaugurated in Aija Town

    A new paddy procurement center was opened today near the Farmers’ Platform (Rythu Vedika) at the Market Yard in Aija Town. This initiative was organized under the Santoshimata Mepma IKP Center.

    The inauguration ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including Alampur Market Yard Chairman Bingidoddi Doddappa, Aija Municipality Chairman, and District Library Chairman Neeli Srinivasulu. Leaders from the Aija Town Congress Party also participated in the event.

    Farmers selling fine varieties of paddy at the center will receive a bonus of ₹500 per quintal. The moisture content of the paddy should not exceed 17% for procurement.

    The Minimum Support Price (MSP) has been set at ₹2,320 per quintal for Grade A paddy and ₹2,300 per quintal for common varieties.

    Farmers expressed their gratitude to the Telangana State Government for this initiative, appreciating the fair prices provided. They believe this is a positive and supportive step for the farming community.

    The event saw active participation from Congress Party leaders and many farmers, who welcomed the efforts to support agricultural livelihoods.
