Wyra MLA Raises Concerns Over Food Poisoning in Gurukul Schools
Khammam: Wyra MLA Maloth Ramdas Naik expressed concern on Monday about the frequent food poisoning incidents in Gurukul schools across the state. He alleged that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party might be behind a conspiracy related to these incidents. The MLA criticized BRS leaders, including K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) and RS Praveen Kumar, warning them against using Gurukul schools for political purposes. He emphasized that strict orders have been issued to ensure the quality of meals served to students in these schools.
The MLA assured that government authorities are regularly visiting Gurukul schools to monitor the situation and ensure the safety of student meals. He compared students and farmers to the “two eyes” of the government and stressed that it is the government’s responsibility to protect them. He highlighted the government’s commitment to farmers by waiving loans of up to ₹2 lakh and promised that the Rythu Bharosa scheme would be released soon.
Maloth Ramdas Naik also mentioned that, on December 9, to mark Sonia Gandhi’s birthday, the Congress government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, would unveil two additional guarantees as part of their six-guarantee program.
