Hyderabad Protest Against Atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh
In Hyderabad, members of several organizations, including ISKCON, VHP, Bajrang Dal, and Bharat Swabhiman, came together on Saturday to protest against violence targeting Hindus in Bangladesh. The protest took the form of a human chain held at the General Post Office (GPO).
Prominent leaders such as Durganandapuri Swamiji, Sivananda Swamiji, VHP Mata Mandir wing national coordinator M. Rama Raju, VHP national spokesperson Dr. Ravinuthala Sashidar, VHP State vice-president Dr. Sunitha Rammohan Reddy, and State vice-president L. Jagadiswar participated in the event.
The protestors condemned a series of violent incidents in Bangladesh, which they said involved murders, rapes, and the destruction of temples and personal properties belonging to Hindus. They expressed concern over the targeting of minority Hindus and emphasized that these acts are severe violations of human rights.
The leaders also highlighted the issue of forced mass religious conversions reportedly carried out under the guise of Sharia Law. They called for action to address these atrocities and safeguard the rights and dignity of minority communities in Bangladesh.
