The government of Telangana is organizing a nine-day event called the “Praja Palana Vijayotsavam” starting December 1. This celebration will include the launch of various development projects and the laying of foundation stones across the state. The festivities will culminate on December 9.
As part of the main highlights, the Yadadri Thermal Power Plant will be inaugurated, and several Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects will be launched. The government will also lay foundation stones for the second phase of integrated residential school buildings and unveil the Telangana Talli statue on the final day.
On December 1, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will lay the foundation stones for Phase-2 Integrated Residential Schools. Additionally, essay writing competitions for students and the CM Cup sports competitions will kick off across the state on the same day.
The next day, December 2, will include the inauguration of 16 Nursing Colleges and 28 Para-Medical Colleges. The government will also launch 213 new ambulances, 33 Transgender Clinics, and a pilot project involving transgenders as traffic volunteers.
Hyderabad-specific projects will be launched on December 3. These include the Hyderabad Rising programmes, the launch of the Zoo Park Flyover from Aaramghar, and beautification works worth Rs 150 crore. Development work on six junctions near KBR Park will also commence.
On December 4, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for the Telangana Forest Development Corporation building and inaugurate the Virtual Safari Centre. Appointment letters will be distributed to 9,007 newly recruited candidates on the same day.
December 5 will focus on women’s empowerment and education. The government plans to inaugurate the Indira Mahila Shakthi Bazaar and interact with self-help groups. Three Advanced Technology Centres will be launched in Medchal, Mallepally, and Nalgonda, along with the inauguration of a Girls’ ITI College in Ghatkesar.
On December 6, power generation from the Yadadri Thermal Power Project will begin. The Chief Minister will also lay foundation stones for new power sub-stations.
December 7 will feature the launch of the State Disaster Response Force, police band performances, Telangana art exhibitions, and cultural programs.
On December 8, seven new Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects will be launched. The government will also open 130 new Mee Seva centers, begin the groundbreaking ceremony for an AI City, and lay the foundation stone for a Sports University.
The nine-day celebration will conclude on December 9. The Chief Minister will unveil the Telangana Talli statue at the Secretariat premises. The closing ceremony, featuring cultural programs, will be held at Tank Bund in the evening.
