Shiv Sena Celebrates Mahayuti Victory, Advocates for Eknath Shinde as CM Again
Hyderabad: Shiv Sena (Shinde) Telangana State President Sinkaru Shivaji has called the victory of the Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra’s state elections a triumph for the people of the state. Speaking on Saturday, he emphasized that the public wants Eknath Shinde to continue as the Chief Minister.
The Shiv Sena leaders gathered at their party office in Hyderabad to celebrate the Mahayuti’s success. Shivaji took the opportunity to criticize Uddhav Thackeray, accusing him of abandoning Hindutva principles. He stated, “The people of Maharashtra have taught Uddhav Thackeray a lesson for betraying the party’s ideology.”
Shivaji further alleged that Thackeray had compromised the party’s values by aligning with the Congress just to secure the Chief Minister’s post. He praised voters for delivering a “befitting lesson” through their mandate.
Expressing optimism, Shivaji said he is confident that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Amit Shah will back Eknath Shinde to retain his position as Maharashtra’s Chief Minister. He believes Shinde’s leadership represents the aspirations of the people.
Turning his focus to Telangana, Shivaji highlighted the party’s ambition to strengthen its presence in the state. He urged party workers to actively address public issues and build a strong support base for Shiv Sena.
Several Shiv Sena leaders, including Suravansi Ramesh, Raj Rao, Pantul Mahesh, Jumpula Sai, Ajay, Maruti, Rahul, and Rama Krishna, were present at the celebration, showing their solidarity with the party’s vision.
