Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy clarified that the State government is setting up an “Industrial Corridor” in the Kodangal Assembly constituency, not a “Pharma City.”
A delegation of Left parties met with Revanth Reddy on Saturday and submitted a memorandum regarding the Lagacharla incident. During the meeting, the CM explained that the primary goal of the industrial corridor is to create job opportunities for the youth and women in his constituency.
Revanth Reddy emphasized that, as the MLA of Kodangal, it is his responsibility to ensure the development of the area without causing trouble for its residents. He assured the public that only pollution-free industries will be established in the region.
Additionally, the Chief Minister stated that the government would consider enhancing compensation for land acquisition to address the concerns of the affected people.
