Hyderabad: PCC Vice President MRG Vinod Reddy has accused Union Minister G Kishan Reddy of focusing more on theatrics than on addressing the real concerns of the residents near the Musi River. He challenged Kishan Reddy to join him in camping for three months in a “forest camp tent” to prove his commitment to the issue.
Speaking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan, Vinod Reddy criticized Kishan Reddy for choosing to spend a night in a house in Tulasiram Nagar, rather than camping in a tent. He questioned why the entire event seemed staged for the cameras, with the Union Minister trying to appear more photogenic.
Vinod Reddy further added that if Kishan Reddy were truly serious about the problems, he would have washed his face and bathed in the Musi River. As a voter in the Secunderabad Parliamentary constituency, he challenged Kishan Reddy to camp for three months and drink the Musi water. “I am ready for this. Are you ready to accept the challenge?” Vinod Reddy asked.
