Telangana SEEEPC Survey Makes Significant Progress
Hyderabad: The Social Economic Education Employment Political and Caste (SEEEPC) survey in Telangana, which started on November 6, has made good progress. As of Sunday, 58.3% of the survey has been completed.
In the first phase of the survey, conducted between November 6 and 8, officials listed 1,16,14,349 houses. The second phase of the survey, which began on November 9, involves detailed household data collection. So far, 67,72,246 homes have been surveyed out of the total listed houses.
The survey is going smoothly throughout the state. Mulugu district is leading with 87.1% of the survey completed, followed by Nalgonda with 81.4%. Other districts like Jangaon (77.6%), Mancherial (74.8%), and Peddapalli (74.3%) are also making good progress.
However, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) area is lagging behind with only 38.3% completion. This is due to the challenges of surveying densely populated urban areas. Despite this, the overall progress remains steady, with over 67.72 lakh households surveyed out of the 1.16 crore homes listed.
