Hyderabad: The state government is planning to take a two-step approach to counter what it sees as a conspiracy by the BRS. According to sources, the government believes the BRS is trying to tarnish its image and destabilize the administration.

The government is preparing a detailed report on how tenders were issued under the AMRUT-2 scheme. It is comparing the current process with the procedures followed during the BRS’s rule in the past 10 years. Officials have stated that no rules or processes have been violated. The Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) department plans to present this report to Union Urban Development Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Additionally, this issue will be discussed in the next Assembly session.

In addition to these actions, the government is thinking about taking legal steps against KTR, accusing him of distorting facts for political gain. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) is expected to take action against KTR for allegedly misleading the public by claiming that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had shown favoritism towards his relatives.

The Municipal Administration and Urban Development authorities have clarified that the contracts were awarded to private agencies following the rules set by both the state government and the Union Ministry of Urban Development.
