Hyderabad is experiencing several urban problems that are upsetting its residents and highlighting the city’s declining infrastructure.

In Ferozguda, one of the major issues is the dumping of Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste on the streets. Even though building activities are ongoing, city officials have failed to implement an effective waste management system to address this growing problem.

Sanjeevaiah Park, which was once a popular place for relaxation, is now poorly maintained and neglected. The lack of care and basic facilities has made the park unwelcoming, reflecting the overall deterioration of public parks across the city.

In Gudimalkapur, sanitation is a big concern. Streets are often littered with trash, and there has been little effort from officials to clean up the area. This is creating serious health risks for the community.

Misrigunj Road has become hazardous due to its poor condition. Potholes make it difficult for drivers and pedestrians to safely navigate, especially at night when visibility is low. Residents are urging for the road to be repaired immediately to prevent accidents.

The road that connects Rampalli to Reqelford International School is also in terrible shape. Rocks sticking out of the surface are damaging vehicles and creating unsafe conditions. Parents and local residents are demanding that the road be properly paved.

In Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) colonies, there is widespread water wastage, particularly during festivals. People are using water to wash driveways and cars. This not only worsens water shortages but also damages the roads. Despite these negative effects, little has been done to stop this practice.

In areas like Yapral, ECIL, and Saket, residents have reported issues with GHMC garbage collectors. These collectors are taking over waste collection services, demanding bribes, and blocking alternative waste management options. As a result, garbage has been left unresolved for weeks, leading to frustration among locals.

Overall, these ongoing problems show that Hyderabad urgently needs better management and improvements to its infrastructure.
