    The Household Survey conducted by the state government has elicited mixed reactions from residents across the city. The survey, aimed at collecting data on various social, financial, educational, employment, political, and caste aspects, began with door-to-door visits by enumerators on Saturday.

    While some residents cooperated with the survey process, others pushed back, citing concerns about privacy and expressing annoyance at what they perceived as intrusive questioning. The survey, which delves into 75 categories of information including household assets, finances, bank accounts, land ownership, and loans, sparked discomfort among certain residents.

    In areas like Musheerabad, enumerators faced resistance as some residents questioned the need for detailed property-related information. Some residents tore down the survey stickers placed on their homes, while others refused to engage with the enumerators altogether.

    Enumerators also encountered logistical hurdles such as delayed delivery of survey forms and difficulties in locating certain addresses. The intricate coding requirements of the survey added to the complexities faced by enumerators
