Hyderabad: Socialite Sushila Bokadia officially inaugurated a 7-day Patola art exhibition organized by D Sons at Labels Pop-up space, located on Road No.1, opposite Taj Krishna, in Banjara Hills. During the event, Sushila expressed her excitement, saying, “It’s wonderful to see different types of apparel, especially Patola art saris, pure handloom, and silk products being displayed under one roof for this wedding season.”
The exhibition features a wide range of collections, including Patola, Bandhani, Paithani, Zari Kota, Kashmiri, Kanjivaram, Chanderi, and Banarasi saris.
Some of the exclusive highlights of the exhibition include Rajkot saris, Patola dupattas, Patola shawls, single Patan saris, and silk tissue Patola. Visitors can explore a variety of silk garments from various states in India, with silk saree weavers and cooperative societies showcasing their work.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until November 11, 2024.
