Passengers on the Blue Line of the Hyderabad Metro, which runs from Nagole to Raidurgam via Begumpet, faced delays on Monday due to a technical glitch. The metro services were disrupted for about 15 minutes, leaving commuters stranded at various stations.
Frustrated passengers shared their experiences on social media, posting images and videos of metro coaches stalled at Begumpet station. In these posts, they highlighted that the train doors remained open for 13 to 15 minutes, preventing the train from moving.
According to Hyderabad Metro officials, the delay was caused by a technical issue with the signalling system on the Blue Line. They assured that the problem was fixed within a few minutes, and normal operations resumed shortly after. An official also mentioned that such minor issues occasionally occur but are quickly addressed to restore service.
