Gadwal: District Collector B.M. Santosh has stressed the importance of officials being well-prepared for an upcoming state government survey. This survey will focus on the social, economic, and educational conditions of households.

On Friday, the District Collector visited the 37th and 20th wards of Gadwal Municipality. He inspected how preparations are going for the door-to-door survey, which will start on November 6. He instructed officials to begin by collecting basic information from November 1 to 3. Stickers should be placed on each house that has been surveyed. The 2011 Census map will serve as the main guide for the survey, and physical boundaries for each ward must be clearly marked.

Each ward will be divided into smaller blocks for the survey. One enumerator will be assigned to each block, and a nodal officer will oversee the entire ward to ensure everything runs smoothly. The Collector also said that multi-storied buildings should be clearly marked on the map. If any houses are vacant or demolished, they should be marked with a red symbol. He also emphasized that all commercial areas, shops, and business centers must be included on the map.
