Karimnagar:
A 2K marathon was organized by the health club of Paramita Heritage School on Sunday. The event began with Dr. E. Prasada Rao, Chairman of Paramita Educational Institutions, waving the school flag to start the race.
Many people took part in the marathon, including the directors of Paramita Educational Institutions — Anukar Rao, Ramana, and Hanmantha Rao — as well as Principal Gopikrishna, teachers, students, and their parents. They all completed the 2-kilometer walk along the Lower Maneru Dam Karakatta with great enthusiasm.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Rao emphasized the importance of staying physically and mentally active. He said that practicing yoga and walking regularly helps people stay healthy. “When they are healthy, they can do any work effectively,” he added.
Principal Gopikrishna also shared his thoughts, explaining that the goal of the marathon was to raise awareness among students about the benefits of daily walking and to help reduce stress levels.
