Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao has accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of tapping the phones of his own ministers and opposition leaders. On Friday, KTR issued an open challenge to the CM, daring him to take a lie detector test in front of cameras to prove he was not involved in phone tapping.
KTR stated, “If Revanth Reddy has the courage, he should accept my challenge and publicly declare that he is not tapping phones. He must say that he is not tapping my phone or those of opposition leaders and his own MLAs.” He made these comments during the Rising Southern Summit, organized by a news channel in the city.
KTR also criticized CM Revanth Reddy for continuing to make offensive remarks, even after taking office as Chief Minister.
When asked about legal cases against Revanth Reddy, KTR pointed out that Reddy was once caught with a bag containing ₹50 lakh. “A thief is called a thief; what else can we call him?” KTR remarked.
He went on to criticize the CM’s government, claiming it had failed to fulfill its promises. He said, “They promised six guarantees, but they have turned into half guarantees.”
