IAS Officer Amoy Kumar Questioned by ED Over Land Allocation Irregularities

Hyderabad: IAS officer Amoy Kumar appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday. He was called in for questioning after multiple complaints were filed regarding irregularities in land allocations during his time as the Collector of Rangareddy and Medchal Malkajgiri districts.

The ED is looking into land deals and allocations that took place while Kumar held the position. There are allegations that he may have misused his power and mishandled finances. The investigation aims to determine if there were any violations of legal procedures or financial misconduct related to these land allocations.

Kumar played an important role in the administration of these districts. His decisions during that period are now being closely examined. The ED is expected to continue its investigation by collecting more evidence and talking to other officials and stakeholders involved in the case.
