Nagar Kurnool: On the third day of a special NSS camp, final-year students from Palem Agricultural College organized a veterinary camp in Thoodukurthi village, located in Nagarkurnool Mandal.

As part of their efforts, the students vaccinated cattle to protect them from Galikunta, a seasonal viral disease. They explained that this disease causes sores around the mouth and hooves of the animals, making it difficult for them to walk. The students encouraged farmers to ensure their cattle receive vaccines to stop the disease from spreading.

In addition to the vaccinations, the students removed invasive Congress grass weeds from the village school. They also led a cleanliness rally to promote awareness about the importance of hygiene.

The event saw active participation from NSS program officers Dr. E. Satyanarayana and Dr. K. Sadhana.
