A fight broke out between supporters of the AIMIM party and the Congress party in the Nampally constituency in Hyderabad. This happened even though both political parties usually seem to have a friendly relationship. The clash took place on Monday and involved Nampally MLA Mohammed Majid Hussain from AIMIM and Congress leader Feroz Khan. The fight caused chaos in the Humayunnagar area and left five people injured. The brawl lasted for nearly an hour.

The trouble started when Feroz Khan, who is a Congress candidate for the Nampally constituency, was meeting locals during a padayatra (a foot march) in Bank Colony, Humayunnagar. At the same time, MLA Majid Hussain and his supporters were also in the area. The AIMIM supporters objected to Feroz Khan’s presence and accused Congress workers of threatening people and collecting details about houses being built.

The situation quickly escalated into violence between the two groups. In the middle of the fight, one man grabbed a lathi (a stick used by police) from a female police officer and attacked other party leaders, causing serious injuries. Videos of the incident went viral on social media, showing both political leaders using abusive language toward each other.

Police officers present at the scene tried hard to break up the fight but had difficulty controlling the crowd. They were seen asking both party leaders to leave the area. After receiving reports of the clash, senior police officers, along with additional forces, rushed to the spot and finally managed to disperse the crowd. Following the incident, police were deployed in various areas, including Bazarghat, Red Hills, AC Guards, Nampally, Mallepally, and Humayunnagar, to prevent any further trouble.
