In the Achampet constituency of Nagarkurnool district, a four-day training program was held for village drinking water assistants. This initiative was organized by the Mission Bhagiratha department. The event focused on training 36 assistants from Uppununthala mandal to help them manage water supply issues more effectively.
After completing the training, Mission Bhagiratha DEE Hemalatha presented certificates to the participants. She explained that earlier, these assistants had to depend on others to fix pipeline leaks. However, after this training, they have gained the skills to handle such repairs on their own.
Hemalatha emphasized that the primary goal of these training programs is to ensure safe drinking water for everyone. She also highlighted the importance of empowering local teams to resolve water-related problems quickly and efficiently. The event was attended by several officials, including Uppununthala AE Sai Krishna and other staff members.
