    Karimnagar: On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, paid tribute to Gandhi’s portrait. This event took place at the Mahashakti Ammavari Temple in Karimnagar.

    BJP district president Gangadi Krishna Reddy, along with many party members, also paid their respects to Mahatma Gandhi. Bandi Sanjay Kumar emphasized the importance of Gandhi’s teachings. He said that Gandhi’s life carries a powerful message and urged people to follow his principles of “Manava Seva Madhava Seva,” which means serving humanity is akin to serving God.

    In addition to paying tribute to Gandhi, Bandi Sanjay also honored former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on his birth anniversary. He praised Shastri as a visionary leader who changed the country’s direction with his famous slogan “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan.” Sanjay highlighted Shastri’s contributions to the nation, noting that he was the architect of many revolutionary reforms and a patriot who played a significant role in the freedom struggle.

    Later, Bandi Sanjay visited a ‘khadi stall’ set up to celebrate the Khadi Mahotsav. He purchased khadi clothes to show support for promoting indigenous textiles.
