    Hyderabad: The Graduation Ceremony and Annual Day of Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women were celebrated in a grand manner at Shilpakala Vedika, HiTech City.

    The Graduation Ceremony had Professor P. Lakshminarayana, Registrar of Osmania University, as the Chief Guest. Professor M. Ramulu, Controller of Examinations at Osmania University, was also present as the Guest of Honor.

    For the Annual Day event, Mr. Medipalli Satyam, MLA of Choppadandi, was the Guest of Honor. Other notable speakers included Mr. Srinivas Rao Mahankali, CEO of T-Hub, and Honorable Bishop M.A. Daniel from the Methodist Church of India.

    College leaders, including Secretary and Correspondent Mr. K. Krishna Rao, Management Members Mr. T. Rakesh Reddy and Mr. R. Pradeep Reddy, Dean of Academics Professor A. Vinay Babu, Principal Dr. Satya Prasad Lanka, Director Dr. V. Anuradha, R&D Director Dr. Vishnuvardhan Reddy, and Administration Officer Mr. A. Ramesh, also attended the event.

    Dr. V. Anuradha presided over both the Graduation Ceremony and the Annual Day celebrations.

    During the Annual Day, Mr. Medipalli Satyam encouraged students to develop leadership skills. He stressed the importance of technical skills alongside knowledge, noting that many companies are looking for students with such expertise. He also mentioned that the state government is working to attract more companies to create job opportunities for young people. He highlighted how Hyderabad has become a hub for engineering students and emphasized the role of women engineers in society’s development. He further added that the government is supporting underprivileged students in pursuing engineering education.

    At the Graduation Ceremony, Chief Guest Prof. P. Lakshminarayana congratulated the students on completing their engineering degrees. He encouraged them to adopt a scientific approach and reminded them that the future of the country rests in their hands. He urged students to use their skills for the benefit of society and to pursue further studies, including opportunities abroad. He also advised them to look up to great engineers like Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya as role models.

    The event saw participation from department heads, faculty members, non-teaching staff, parents, and students.
