Hyderabad: A National Lok Adalat was held in the city on Saturday. B Tirupati, Chairman of the Mandal Legal Services Committee and 3rd Additional District Judge, spoke about the importance of the Lok Adalat.
As part of the event, 12 benches were set up at the Kukatpally court complex. These were arranged to help people resolve their pending court cases more easily. A total of 10,082 cases were settled during the day.
Out of these, 4,032 cases were settled in the Medchal-Malkajgiri court of the Kukatpally complex, and 6,055 cases were resolved in Ranga Reddy. These cases were all handled as part of the National Lok Adalat.
Additionally, 32 cases between banks and litigants were settled for a total amount of Rs. 40,58,000. Other cases, such as civil disputes, money recovery, and cheque bounce cases, were also resolved during the event.
