New flight services have started between Hyderabad and two cities in Uttar Pradesh: Ayodhya and Kanpur. These services began on Friday. Two additional routes, from Hyderabad to Prayagraj and Agra, will be starting on Saturday.
The flights from Hyderabad to Ayodhya will be available four days a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flight 6E 6477 will leave Hyderabad at 1:55 PM and reach Ayodhya at 4:05 PM. The return flight, 6E 6478, will depart Ayodhya at 4:40 PM and land back in Hyderabad at 6:40 PM.
For the Hyderabad to Prayagraj route, flights will operate three days a week—on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Flight 6E 6817 will leave Hyderabad at 8:55 AM and reach Prayagraj at 10:55 AM. The return flight, 6E 6819, will leave Prayagraj at 11:20 AM and arrive in Hyderabad at 1:10 PM.
Flights between Hyderabad and Agra will also run three times a week—on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The departure from Hyderabad is at 1:55 PM, with the flight scheduled to arrive in Agra at 4:05 PM. The return flight will take off from Agra at 4:40 PM and land in Hyderabad at 6:40 PM.
The Hyderabad to Kanpur route will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flight 6E 6817 will leave Hyderabad at 8:55 AM and reach Kanpur at 11:00 AM. The return flight, 6E 6819, will depart Kanpur at 11:30 AM and land in Hyderabad at 1:10 PM.
Union Minister of Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, praised these new services, stating that seven new flight routes have been launched from Hyderabad in just one month. He highlighted that these new flights, especially the Hyderabad-Ayodhya service, will help meet the growing demand for air travel in India.
The introduction of these flights is part of a larger initiative led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to boost the domestic aviation sector. IndiGo Airlines has played a key role by launching seven new flight routes from Hyderabad in September alone. This includes the Hyderabad-Rajkot service that started on September 16, Hyderabad-Agartala on September 23, and Hyderabad-Jammu on September 24.
