Gadwal: District Collector B M Santosh has asked officials to speed up the completion of pending work in schools.
In a meeting held on Wednesday with KGBV principals, Mandal Education Officers (MEOs), and engineers, the Collector stressed the importance of finishing these tasks quickly. He told the assistant engineers to create a detailed report on the status of the work, including how much construction has been done, the total funds allocated, and other important details about the KGBVs. The executive engineers from the Panchayati Raj department were told to submit these reports.
The Collector also highlighted the need to complete important facilities like water supply, sanitation, and toilets in all KGBV schools. He further asked the engineers to tackle any problems that come up in the schools without delay. He made it clear that unauthorized people should not be allowed to enter the school premises.
In addition, the principals were instructed to keep their schools clean and ensure everything runs smoothly. If they face any difficulties, they were advised to report them to their higher-ups.
The meeting was also attended by Additional Collector Narsinga Rao, PR Executive Engineer Damodar Rao, and other officials.
