    Hyderabad: A retired State government employee, P. Pradeep Kumar, has made the city proud by winning a gold medal at a national-level competition.

    Pradeep Kumar, who previously worked as an Assistant Accounts Officer in the State Police Department, participated in the National Powerlifting Competitions. These events were held in Sonipat City, Haryana.

    He competed in the 83 kg weight category and lifted a total of 390 kg, securing the first position in the Masters-3 category.

    To honor his achievement, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu felicitated Pradeep Kumar. He also expressed hope that Pradeep will continue to bring more recognition to the State in the future.
