    Gadwal:

District Additional Collector Narsinga Rao has called for the strict implementation of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (Drug-Free India Campaign) to tackle drug abuse in the district.

During a review meeting held on Wednesday at the Collectorate’s conference hall, Rao stressed the importance of creating student clubs in schools and colleges to spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. He suggested that students who are addicted to drugs should be identified, treated, and given counseling at rehabilitation centers. After treatment, these students should be reunited with their families.

Rao also emphasized that the campaign should be a shared responsibility, with active involvement from the community and the general public. He believes that the fight against drug abuse requires everyone’s participation.
