Hyderabad: BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao, also known as KCR, performed a special ritual called the ‘Navagraha Maha Yagam’ at his farmhouse in Eravalli on Friday. This ritual was conducted between 11 am and 1 pm, following the advice of priests. KCR’s wife, Shobha, also took part in the yagam. Other key figures, such as party leader T Harish Rao and MLC Kavitha’s husband Anil Kumar, were also present.

The Navagraha Maha Yagam is a ritual meant to address planetary influences in a person’s horoscope. It is believed to help reduce the negative effects of planets and improve health and overall well-being.

KCR and his party have been facing several challenges in recent months. His party, BRS, suffered losses in the recent Assembly elections and failed to win any seats in the Lok Sabha polls. On top of these political setbacks, KCR had to undergo hip replacement surgery after a fall in the bathroom, which kept him away from public life for a while.
