Hyderabad: The situation in Jainoor Mandal of K B Asifabad District is now under control after recent clashes between two communities. The unrest began following an alleged case of sexual assault and attempted murder of an Adivasi woman by a man from another community.

On Wednesday, Adivasi organizations, including Tudum Dibba, called for a bandh (a general strike). During the bandh, tensions escalated into violence between the two communities. Adivasis began attacking properties belonging to the other community, which led to retaliation. This resulted in incidents of arson, stone-pelting, and property damage.
