    Hyderabad: A New Silk Expo Begins

    Hyderabad socialite, Sailaja Reddy, inaugurated the National Silk Expo 2024 at Sri Satya Sai Nigamagamam in Sri Nagar Colony. This event is organized by Jagdishwar Hastkala. Sailaja Reddy mentioned that platforms like this are essential for women who are searching for well-designed handmade cotton, silk wear, exclusive silk saris, and other handloom creations, all available under one roof.

    The main purpose of this handloom exhibition is to support weavers and provide them with a market for their handloom products. The organizer, Jayesh Kumar, emphasized that these exhibitions help create a good market for the weavers and their products, even in areas where such exhibitions are generally not possible.

    The exhibition aims to deliver pure silk and cotton products directly from the weavers to the customers, eliminating the need for middlemen. The National Silk Expo will continue until September 11, 2024, and will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
