Due to heavy rains affecting the region, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Sudhir Babu, IPS, has urged citizens to stay alert and limit travel to only essential trips. During a video conference today, officials discussed various strategies for relief and rehabilitation in response to the ongoing weather challenges.

The meeting included notable figures such as Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, and DGP Dr. Jitender. Commissioners Sudhir Babu from Rachakonda and Avinash Mahanty from Cyberabad emphasized the need for immediate action to help residents struggling with the effects of the rain, especially in low-lying areas.

Local authorities, including DCPs and ACPs, were instructed to implement several precautionary measures to ensure public safety. The Rachakonda region has been severely impacted, with motorists and pedestrians facing difficulties due to flooding and hazardous road conditions.
