Hyderabad: The State Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, has instructed authorities to focus on increasing the state’s revenues. He emphasized that this should be done without imposing any additional tax burden on the people.

During a high-level meeting with key departments, Bhatti Vikramarka urged officials to come up with innovative ideas to boost revenue. He mentioned that in contrast to the previous government, officials now have the freedom to make decisions within their departments. This flexibility is expected to help in achieving better results.

The Minister also gave specific instructions to the Mining Department. He asked them to ensure that sand stocks are available in sub-yards and market yards near major towns within assembly constituencies. Additionally, he called for speeding up the LRS (Layout Regularization Scheme) process and requested a detailed report on the revenue generated and the number of applications received so far.

Bhatti Vikramarka also reviewed several other issues, including land pooling plans under HMDA (Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority), assigned lands, and ongoing court disputes. He stressed that mistakes made by the previous government in land pooling should not be repeated.
