Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruthi Samithi President Kodandaram and well-known journalist Amir Ali Khan were sworn in as Members of the Legislative Council (MLC) on Friday. They were nominated under the Governor’s quota.

The oath was administered by Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy. The ceremony was attended by Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.

Earlier this year, in January, both Kodandaram and Amir Ali Khan were nominated for these positions. However, their swearing-in was delayed due to a petition filed by BRS leaders Dasoju Sravan and Kurra Satyanarayana. The delay was in response to orders from the High Court.
