The rallies were organized by a group called Hindu Aikya Vedika. Many other Hindu organizations, NGOs, and local leaders joined in to show unity against the mistreatment of Hindus.
Lawyers from the Ranga Reddy District Court Bar Association also held a demonstration. Afterward, they decided to send a message to the President and Prime Minister. They urged the government to take strong actions to protect Hindus in Bangladesh.
Advocates at the Telangana High Court participated in protests as well. They waved the national flag and shouted slogans against the violence faced by Hindus, who are a minority in Bangladesh. Senior advocate K Karunasagar led a march at the High Court, carrying a banner that read, “We condemn the genocide of Hindus in Bangladesh.”
In Malakpet, BJP leader Madhavilatha Kompella criticized Congress leaders for not speaking out against the attacks. She highlighted that serious crimes against women were happening in Bangladesh and questioned why Congress leaders remained silent.
