    Hyderabad:

The Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi (BGUS) has opened a new office at Siddiamber Bazar. This office will help coordinate with Ganesh Pandal organizers in the city.

The BGUS expects over one lakh pandals to be set up in Hyderabad. For the past 44 years, the BGUS has been guiding pandal organizers. They provide instructions on pooja, cultural, devotional, and patriotic programs. These activities take place during the ten-day festival starting on September 7.

Today, the BGUS inaugurated their office at Baheti Bhavan. This year marks the 45th year of their mass immersion program. The event also honors the jayanti of freedom fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Tilak used the Ganeshotsav to hold meetings against British rule during India’s Independence struggle.
