Bhupalpally: Efforts are being made to create job opportunities for local youth, according to Minister for IT and Industries, Duddilla Sridhar Babu. He mentioned this during the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Industrial Park near Mylaram in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Saturday. The event also saw the participation of Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Seethakka. Sridhar Babu stated that the government plans to set up at least 200 industries in the region, which is rich in natural resources.

Despite having two barrages as part of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project, Sridhar Babu noted that not a single acre in Bhupalpally and Manthani constituencies has benefitted from the Godavari waters. He criticized the previous government’s unscientific methods, citing the partial collapse of the Medigadda barrage as an example of poor planning by the BRS government.
