NEW DELHI: Manda Krishna Madiga, the founder president of Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS), announced a significant victory for their 30-year struggle.

Recently, the Supreme Court confirmed that the power to classify lies with the states. The decision was made by a Supreme Court bench led by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, with a 6:1 verdict on SC classification.
