Hyderabad: Telangana State Haj Committee chairman Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani Khusro Pasha met with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday. They discussed the issues faced by Haj pilgrims from Telangana State.
The chairman was joined by V Narender Reddy, an advisor to the government, and several MLAs including N Rajender from Hanamkonda, Murli Naik from Mahboobabad, Raj Thakur from Ramgondam, and A Lakshman from Dharampuri.
The meeting took place at the State Assembly. They talked about the problems that occurred during the Haj pilgrimage in 2024 in Saudi Arabia. Khusro Pasha expressed his wish to provide better facilities for Haj pilgrims in the year 2025.
Khusro Pasha asked Revanth Reddy to address the issues and send a letter to the Minorities Welfare Department, Haj Committee of India, and Saudi Arabia Authorities. The Haj pilgrims from Telangana faced many problems, especially with accommodation and transport in the Mashaeir region during their journey in Mecca and Madina.
