    The eighth day of the Telangana Assembly meeting began today at 10 am. The session is set to discuss several important legislative matters affecting the state. The usual question and answer session has been canceled to allow more time for legislative proposals and short-term discussions.

    Three government bills will be introduced during the session. One of the significant bills is the Young India Skill University Bill, presented by Minister Sridhar Babu. Additionally, two amendment bills from the Law Department will be put forward for consideration. These bills have already been introduced in the House.

    A short-term discussion will focus on the development of Hyderabad. This discussion highlights the government’s commitment to urban growth and infrastructure improvements.

    Later today, at 2:30 pm, a cabinet meeting will take place in Committee Hall 1. Key topics on the agenda include discussions about new ration cards and the formation of a cabinet sub-committee to streamline related procedures. The medical department will address the Jeevan Dan initiative. Urban planning discussions will revolve around the merger of municipalities, municipal corporations, and villages within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). A bill related to these mergers is expected to be introduced in the House tomorrow.

    Today’s assembly sessions show the government’s proactive approach to addressing pressing issues and taking legislative actions to benefit the state’s citizens.
