Hyderabad: The ruling Congress party’s women MLAs have accused the BRS of misleading the public. This accusation comes amid a controversy involving an alleged humiliation of a woman legislator in the house.
The Congress MLAs argue that the BRS is creating a fuss because it cannot handle the successful implementation of the farm loan waiver. They believe the BRS is making an issue out of nothing.
Speaking at the Assembly’s media point, Congress legislators Matta Ragamayee, M Yashaswini Reddy, and Chittem Parnika Reddy commented on the situation. They said that the BRS stirred unnecessary trouble in the house after Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy made remarks about P Sabitha Indra Reddy.
The Congress MLAs also referred to a previous incident involving MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy. He had suggested that Minister Seethakka was speaking without ‘proper knowledge’. The Congress did not create an issue over this, but now, the BRS is allegedly trying to gain political advantage by claiming that the Chief Minister humiliated a woman legislator.
