Hyderabad: The State government plans to create a Skills University to provide advanced knowledge and skills to young people. Legislative Affairs Minister D Sridhar Babu introduced The Young India Skills University (Public-Private Partnership) Bill, 2024 in the Telangana Government on Tuesday.
Minister Sridhar Babu said that the main goal of the government is to equip the youth with advanced skills through this new university. The university will be established in Kodangal, which is the constituency of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
The university will be set up through a partnership between the government and private entities. The Minister mentioned that this initiative is a step towards economic development and generating jobs in the State. Sridhar Babu also called the Skills University a strategic investment of finances.
