Vasireddy Seetharamaiah, the state president of the union, stated that the company should release 35% of its annual profits to the workers right away. He also demanded that the management recognize the union officially by issuing a recognition certificate, which has been delayed for seven months. According to Seetharamaiah, this delay is causing problems for the workers.

Additionally, Seetharamaiah urged the State government to release Rs 2,700 crore in pending dues to Singareni Collieries. He mentioned that the company can only start new mines if the State government releases these pending funds.
