Gadwal: District SP T. Srinivasa Rao, IPS, spoke about the importance of planting and caring for green plants to help balance the climate and protect the environment. He said this would ensure a better future for the coming generations. He shared these thoughts during a big Vanamahotsavam program on Friday. During the event, he and other police officials planted saplings at the district police office premises.
SP Srinivasa Rao stressed that everyone should take responsibility for planting and looking after saplings. He mentioned that the district police officers would lead the Vanamahotsavam program and ensure the planting of the required saplings in each police station area. A total of 605 saplings were planted during this event.
