YSR Congress Party Alleges Violence in Andhra Pradesh

YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the president of YSR Congress Party, has accused Nara Lokesh of inciting violence in Andhra Pradesh. Lokesh is a minister and the son of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking to the media after opening a photo gallery showing instances of violence and damage, Jagan urged the national media to report on the situation. He claimed that since the TDP coalition came to power 45 days ago, there has been widespread violence and a breakdown of law and order.

Jagan accused the government of targeting members and supporters of his party, YSRCP. He alleged that there have been over 30 murders, 300 attempted murders, and significant destruction of private and public property.

He specifically blamed Nara Lokesh for orchestrating the violence. Jagan claimed that Lokesh used a ‘Red Book,’ which contained details of YSRCP members and instructions for attacks. According to Jagan, this ‘Red Book’ was circulated widely and even displayed on hoardings, overshadowing the Indian Constitution.

Jagan contrasted this with his party’s previous rule, stating that no such violence occurred during their tenure. He warned that if the current situation is not addressed, democracy in the state will be at risk.

He urged the national media to look at the photo and video evidence presented in the gallery. He asked them to understand the seriousness of the situation and support the people of Andhra Pradesh in preserving peace and democracy.
