Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLAs protested in the assembly. They demanded a discussion on the job calendar. The party also proposed an adjournment resolution regarding the job calendar in both houses.
During the heated discussions, Speaker Gaddam Prasad took a moment to wish former minister KTR a happy birthday. This briefly interrupted the session.
Earlier, BRS MLA KP Vivekananda Goud spoke to the media at the assembly’s media point. He expressed dissatisfaction with the central government for not supporting Telangana.
Goud pointed out that both Congress and BJP won eight MP seats each. Despite this, neither party has contributed financially to the state’s development.
He highlighted that during the BRS government’s tenure, the central government did not provide funds. Despite this, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) managed to develop Telangana using the state’s own resources.
Goud criticized the central government for not giving any financial assistance in the past decade.
