    Key Departments Under CM Revanth Likely to Get Big Budget

    The budget for this year is expected to be around Rs 2.9 lakh crore. Key departments like Agriculture, Irrigation, Health, Education, and Urban Development, which are currently managed by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, are likely to receive significant allocations.

    Government to Counter BRS on Various Issues

    The government is preparing to challenge the BRS on several issues, including damage to the Medigadda barrage, corruption in power purchase agreements, a sheep distribution scam, and other departmental irregularities.

    Revanth Reddy to Lead Debates

    Revanth Reddy is expected to lead debates on important issues, especially the implementation of the 6 Guarantees. These include the Dharani land records system, the farm loan waiver scheme, the Musi Riverfront development project, and new acts like the Telangana Thalli statue, a new state song, and a proposed new emblem.

    Focus on Education

    The Chief Minister has instructed the Finance wing to allocate adequate funds for school education reforms. These reforms aim to establish play schools and integrated residential schools in every assembly constituency.

    Higher Education and Municipal Development

    The budget is also likely to prioritize the appointment of vice-chancellors and staff in universities, along with special grants for promoting higher education. Additionally, substantial funds are expected for the ambitious Musi Riverfront development project.
