    In a small shake-up, the Telangana government has moved 6 IAS officers to new roles in various departments.

    Former Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj, who was waiting for a new assignment, is now the Special Chief Secretary to the Transport, Housing & General Administration (Coordination with Government of India and Smart Governance) Department.

    Another senior IAS officer, Benhur Mahesh Dutt Ekka, has been named Principal Secretary to the Government (Services) in the General Administration Department. He was also waiting for a new role.

    Dr. A. Sharath, who is currently Secretary to the Government in the Tribal Welfare Department, will now also serve as Commissioner of Tribal Welfare.

    Sports Director Korra Lakshmi has been given the additional responsibility of Managing Director for the Telangana State Warehousing Corporation.

    Harish, Joint Secretary to the Government in the TR&B Department, will now also take on the role of Special Secretary to the Government in the Revenue (Disaster Management) Department.

    Radhika Gupta, previously the Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Hanumakonda, has been moved to serve as Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Medchal Malkajgiri district.
