The rain is also bringing strong winds that are knocking down trees and electricity poles, leading to power outages in some areas. The low-lying regions are getting flooded, adding to the problems faced by residents.

Authorities are warning people to be careful as heavy rainfall is expected to continue for the next three days. They are advising against seeking shelter under trees during the rain and recommending staying indoors unless absolutely necessary.
